Terms of Service

Last updated

These terms apply when you engage Electrician Pro to carry out electrical work. By booking a service you accept them. If anything here conflicts with a signed written agreement, that agreement takes precedence.

Quotes and pricing

  • Quotes are flat rate and confirmed in writing before work starts.
  • A quote covers the scope described in it. If we find additional work is needed, we stop and re-quote rather than adding to the invoice.
  • Price ranges published on this site are typical completed-job figures for budgeting. They are not quotes.
  • Quotes remain valid for thirty days unless stated otherwise.

Access and site conditions

  • You agree to provide safe access to the work area and to the main shut-off.
  • You confirm you are the property owner or are authorised by the owner to commission the work.
  • Please clear valuables and obstructions from the work area before we arrive.
  • Where a hazard beyond the scope of the job is present, we may pause work until it is resolved.

Payment

  • Payment is due on completion unless we have agreed terms in writing beforehand.
  • We accept cash, credit card, debit card, and check.
  • Larger projects may require a deposit against materials, which will be stated in the quote.

Warranty

Lifetime workmanship warranty on electrical panel replacements Warranty covers our workmanship. Parts and equipment carry the manufacturer warranty, which we register on your behalf where applicable. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, third-party work carried out after ours, or a pre-existing condition we identified in writing and you chose not to address.

Cancellation and rescheduling

  • Scheduled appointments can be cancelled or moved at no charge with reasonable notice.
  • Where a technician has already been dispatched, a callout charge may apply.
  • Special-order parts already purchased for your job may not be refundable.

Permits and code compliance

Where your municipality requires a permit, we file the application and arrange the inspection. All work is carried out to the applicable plumbing code in force at the time. We cannot certify pre-existing installations we did not carry out.

Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the work performed, except where a greater liability cannot lawfully be excluded. We are not liable for consequential loss arising from a pre-existing fault we were not engaged to address. We carry $2,000,000 in liability insurance, and a certificate is available on request.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the work is performed.
